The VR/AR and Imitation Learning Team develops cutting-edge extended reality (XR) solutions that bridge the gap between humans and robotic systems. Through immersive interfaces, we enable intuitive robot teleoperation, training, and collaboration in both virtual and mixed reality environments, transforming how humans interact with and control intelligent machines.
Our research encompasses virtual reality (VR) for robot teleoperation, augmented reality (AR) for real-time robot status visualization, mixed reality training environments, haptic feedback systems, and immersive simulation platforms. We focus on creating seamless XR experiences that enhance situational awareness, reduce cognitive load, and enable natural, intuitive control of complex robotic systems.
Immersive interfaces for intuitive remote robot control
Real-time overlay of robot data and environmental information
Touch-based interfaces for enhanced robot interaction
Virtual replicas for simulation, training, and testing
